Individual therapies

What each therapy provides

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists help children and adolescents do what they want and need to do every day — their “occupations”. We look at the whole child and the skills underneath: attention, sensory processing, emotional regulation, gross motor coordination, self-care and friendships. Sessions are play-based on a neuro-affirming foundation, and we work with parents and carers, grandparents, teachers and other clinicians so strategies carry across every environment.

Speech Pathology

Our Speech Pathologists help children find their voice and connect with the world around them: speech clarity, understanding language, social communication and literacy. The approach is respectful and child-led — we meet your child where they are and build functional communication through play, whether the challenge is expressive language, following instructions or complex social interactions.

Psychology

Child and adolescent Psychology offers a safe, supportive space for young people and families navigating emotional and behavioural challenges: anxiety, stress, self-esteem, family change and big feelings. We work closely with parents so the whole family has practical strategies for a calm, understanding home. Psychology also provides formal psychometric assessments — learning difficulties, cognitive ability, academic skills and ADHD — with a comprehensive report and feedback session.

We do not currently have a psychologist on the team and are recruiting — register your interest and we will let you know as soon as places open.

Education Support

Education Support brings therapy goals to life through everyday learning. Our educator works on the foundations — communication, regulation, social engagement, joint attention and turn-taking — in play-based, relationship-first sessions; builds the readiness skills for preschool and school, such as routines, group environments and independence; and partners with families so learning and regulation strategies continue at home.

Whichever fits, the first step is the same: a short intake form, and we will be in touch as soon as a place is available.
