Sense in Schools

Sense in Schools brings the way we work in the clinic into your school: a shared language, practical know-how and real inclusion, all of it neuro-affirming, trauma-informed and strengths-based. One in five children is neurodivergent, and most teacher training was built for a different classroom. Sense in Schools is the missing piece for the classroom you actually have.

It is three things working together, an ecosystem rather than a one-off PD day. Teacher training that turns OT and clinical ideas into classroom language, so every teacher leaves with strategies they will use on Monday. Real-time debriefing and reflection, in the moment, with allied health strategies shaped for your school, your staff and your kids. And direct access to Occupational Therapists and allied health professionals for consultation, problem-solving and ongoing strategy work, with no referral needed.

It suits any school or early learning centre that wants teachers and students to have an OT-informed lens on regulation, sensory needs and engagement. That means the whole class, not only the children with a diagnosis: mainstream schools, specialist settings, independent and faith-based schools, and early-years centres.

Sense in Schools is built by the same team as Sense Sports, paediatric Occupational Therapists who have spent ten years in gyms, on fields and in clinics learning what helps kids feel safe, regulated and ready to join in. It is free to start, and you upgrade when your team is ready.
